I have so much to say about this beautiful girl right here, my girl Maddie was a complete rock star at her session! From the moment I met her she was full of joy and just a ball of bubbly positive energy. And you know what? I ABSOLUTELY loved it! If you know me, you know that I have likely never met a stranger in my life and likely when I am retired I will thoroughly enjoy being a Wal-Mart greeter. The power of positivity and a good hello are never something I take for granted. And Maddie was a direct replicate of that same energy, so you can only imagine the comical items we laughed during our time together at her session out on the ranch.
Guys, this was taken within MINUTES of starting up the camera. Isn’t she just downright gorgeous?!!
Okay besides the fact that Maddie’s energy is beyond contagious and she is just the sweetest soul, have you guys noticed it’s already time to start thinking about Senior Portraits for 2019 Seniors? #Holdthephone and #Wheredidsummergo? Also can you believe that the Fall Decor is officially rolled out!
Yes Mam!
And I think next week pumpkin spice lattes…. well take that back, Pumpkin Spice everything is going to be on full blast. I’m watching you Trader Joe’s & H-E-B!
It’s been a busy Summer for us here at the Farm, we took some time off to be together as a family but there has also been many hustle moments, big reason why my poor blogs have been put on the back burner. I have so many stories to share and hope to catch up soon!
But as we wait in line for the start of the Fall season and or the pumpkin spice latte at the closest Starbucks, don’t wait to start thinking of portraits for your Senior as well as portraits for your Holiday Christmas Cards. Last year I was completely booked for 2017 before mid-October that I actually had to refer folks out. Crazy, I know!
If you’re thinking about portraits, the most common question I have received lately is when should I book? And honestly, if you’re thinking about them, don’t wait too long. Portraits are booked anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months in advance.
Also since I captured this moment in late May, Maddie is now graduated and just moved into her new dorm at college. It’s been a crazy week to see my Senior gals from this past year load up and take course into the next chapter into their lives, college and adulthood. Also during the week seeing all of the sweet move-in photos on social media I also saw a TimeHop on my personal memories and it’s hard to believe that it has been 11 years since I was a Freshman at Tarleton State! 11 years?! How does time do that?
My seniors from last year were only 8 years old when I went to school, and now here they are taking their first steps on campus. Wow! Now you see what I am talking about?
Okay before I start counting on how many years before Parker starts Kindergarten, I am going to let you guys enjoy these AMAZING portraits of Maddie!
Sometimes I can’t decide black and white or color, what do you think?
Her laugh is so sweet and contagious!! I just love her!
One of my top favorites from the session! #Nailedit!
Can y’all see why I love photographing at the Ranch? It’s just a big playground for adventure and photographs out here.
Gasp. S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G!
Maddie, I am so excited for you and your dreams for the future at TAMU-SA! You’re the brightest light everywhere you go and I know you are going to accomplish so much in your time as a Jaguar! Congratulations to my past 2018 Seniors and know that I am thinking of all of you as you start this new nerve-wracking & exciting journey!! Go Jaguars! Go Road Runners! Go Aggies! Go Raiders! & Go Wildcats!
Thank you so much!! I believe happiness and laughing is a way to not stress and believe you are going to do wonderful things because most of the time when you’re having fun and learning new things, the outcome is most likely going to be amazing. Just like how my photos came out!
