It’s been a Spring full of amazing Seniors as and as each session approaches I feel for my moms! As a mother of one funny little boy, I can totally relate to the “mom teary-eye” moments when I show them the first preview of their ‘babies’ on camera. Each of my moms do the heart tug and hold back their tears, and it usually follows with advice to me that they grow up waaaay too fast! And I believe it!
Outside of the tears and joy of this special time in their daughter’s or son’s lives, I was cutting up jokes and just having a blast out on the ranch.
I am still embarrassed (sort of) that Kaelyn & her mom, Laura could totally hear me do my “cattle call”! (Insert face palm emoji) P.S. We were in TWO separate vehicles… as they were following me to the next location…with the WINDOWS UP! HA! #whoopsydaisy
Besides of everyone being highly entertained of my beautiful talents for cattle calling, we hanged out. We talked about Kaelyn’s future at Tech and she gave her mother the funniest speech about resisting to give up her truck “Black Betty” to her younger brother. Kaelyn is a true southern belle! She is a complete sweetheart and would not stop saying “Yes Ma’am” even after I kept telling her I am too young to be called by those words!
Nonetheless, she is a sweetheart that started out a little shy in the beginning of our session, then within minutes she completely transformed into a fierce young woman in front of the camera. She brought her game up to another level of… “Wow!!” I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this young lady and know Texas Tech is going to gain one heck of a young woman! Til then y’all will have to just take a look at her portraits – STUNNING!!
